- The first thing you will notice about Park Foot is its stunning location adjacent to Lake Ullswater. The countryside and views around the park are superb - the Lake stretching for 9 miles, the Helvellyn mountains, and Martindale and Kentmore Common bordering the lake to the east and the west.The Lake District is beautiful at any time of the year; although Gowbarrow Park by the lakeside is particularly lovely in Spring when the daffodils, so immortalised by Wordsworth, appear.

You have a choice of cottages or log cabins (may differ from illustrations). All have elec fires, portable heaters for the bedrooms, elec cooker, microwave & dishwasher. Elec by £1 meter. Cot avail on request. Small garden with furniture. Payphone. Pets - 2 welcome at £16 each pw. Security deposit by £50 credit card charge or cheque poa (refunded in full/part at the sole discretion of the owner).
